PLO 3 - Pitch Deck
This pitch deck was used to provide the groundwork for our elearning strategy at my company. This demonstrated to leadership the learning theories on which we were grounding our strategy. The work aligns with PLO3: Apply research methodologies to answer questions and enhance practice in educational technology using accepted professional and institutional guidelines and procedures.
This is a pitch deck I created at work to present my strategy for eLearning development across the program. By basing my strategy firmly on adult learning theory and multimedia theory, I was able to show leaders at my organization not only that this is a solid way forward, but that positive and measurable results can be expected given the research-backed design (see slide 7). This pitch deck is just one part of an overall comprehensive elearning program design (which was developed on the ADDIE framework and includes deliverables from a needs analysis and audience profile, all the way to evaluation strategy). Still, it highlights the foundational research and speaks to a high-level overview of the development strategy. Moreover, the goal of the pitch deck was to demonstrate at a high level the elearning development best practices and collaborate with key partners, leaders, and decision makers toward defining the scope of the project.
